About

The Student Association Press is a project dedicated to increasing knowledge of student associations, both to the public and to those working in the sector.

The Press runs an regular blog, is working on building the scholarly field of student association studies, and follows the news around major events in the student association universe.

We detail more about our policies and what we do our “what we do” living blog post.

We have a conflict of interest with the Carleton Undergraduate Student Association. We as authors produce both reporting and opinion, contrary to the Canadian Association of Journalists guidelines (we are also not members of the CAJ). We identify more closely as bloggers than as journalists, even if our content tagged as “news” may try to uphold journalistic standards.
